Obituary
A visitation for Mr. Fermin Ortega Hernandes will be held Sunday March 4, 2007, from 4 to 7 P.M. at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M. Monday March 5 at La Purisima Catholic Church in Lompoc celebrated by Father Tom Cook. Burial will follow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
"Chucko" as he was known, was born May 20, l946 in Mexico. After he immigrated to the United States he was employed for over 40 years in farming and mechanical work in the Lompoc area.
He is Survived by five children, John Ortega of Lompoc, Joannie Ortega of Chico, Sandy, Angie, and Sammy Ortega all of Sacramento. He is also survived by five sisters, Francisca Campos of Nebraska, Maria Farias of Carpenteria, IsidraOrtega of Lompoc, Anita Rodriguiz of Lompoc, and Felipa Figueroa, of Lompoc, and one brother, Miguel Ortega of Fresno.
Friends who desire may donate to the expense fund at the Coast Hills Federal Credit Union in Lompoc.
