Fidel Barreras passed peacefully on December 21, 2023, and was surrounded by his loved ones; wife; Linda Barreras, daughter; Teresa Howell, son-in-law; Tim Howell, grandchildren; Courtney Dosa and Trenten Howell, siblings; Albert Barreraz, and Adela Tenbroeck.

Fidel leaves behind his wife, Linda, and his three children; Anthony Barreras, Andrew Barreras, and Teresa Howell as well as six grandchildren. Preceded by his Parents; Fidel and Anna Marie Barreraz of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Son; Richard Alan Barreras of Lompoc, California.

His Family will remember him as a kindhearted man with a zest for life. He would help any person in need and had a soft spot for any stray animals. He had a love for laughter, jokes, music, and dancing with a passion. You could find him fishing or taking his dogs to the beach. He was always competitive when it came to any type of sport, especially tennis. His compassion for his family was second to none. Fidel had a personality that was bigger than life itself and will be missed dearly.

A Celebration of Life for Fidel will be held at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 2 pm.
