Obituary
Florence Anne Pata Green, 85, passed away peaceful at her home in Lompoc, California surrounded by family and friends on September 18, 2014.
She was born in Portland, OR on July 26, 1929 to Herbert Leslie and Florence Louise McHenry. She graduated from Oregon State University in 1951 and moved to Santa Barbara, California in September, 1954. She worked as a medical technologist throughout her career.
Florence married Alfred Harold Pata November 29, 1958. Together they had three children; Richard, Janice and Kenneth. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990 and married Marion Green in 1995. She is survived by her children Richard, Janice and Kenneth (Erin) Pata and grandchildren Anna, Adam, and Claire.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Bruce Walters officiating. Interment will follow in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Care Foundation of Santa Barbara or to the Lompoc Historical Society.
