Floyd Lee Brodhecker 1930 – 2009
Floyd Lee Brodhecker of Lompoc, CA peacefully passed away in the presence of family members on Tuesday, March 10, 2009. He was 79 years old.
Floyd was born March 6, 1930, to Elvin and Thelma Brodhecker in Topeka, Kansas. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1948, and married the former Jackie Davis several years later. In 1951, Floyd joined and served in the United States Air Force for 23 years. Following Floyd's retirement from the Air Force he worked for Lockheed and later Martin Marietta.
Floyd is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jackie Brodhecker of Lompoc, his children, Dennis Brodhecker of Irvine, California, Curtis Brodhecker of Florida, Janet (Don) Dart of Washington, Karen (Ray) Koltermann of Washington, Linda (Clif) Bartlett of Solvang, his sister Pearl Diehm of Albuquerque, New Mexico, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother Lloyd Brodhecker.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
