Forrest Libby, a beloved son, brother, father, friend and life-long resident of Lompoc Ca, died unexpectedly of cancer on August 4, 2024 at the age of 57 surrounded by his closest friends and family. Forrest is survived by his mother Sheila Libby; his sisters, Andrea Libby; Sherri Hodson; his daughter, Katie Leone; and his granddaughters Barbara (Babs) Leone and soon to be born Elizabeth Leone. Forrest was born in Lompoc Ca, on December 14th 1966 to Gary and Sheila Libby. He graduated from Lompoc Senior High School in 1985 and began as a contractor for his brother Gary Wayne's business. He then went on to work for Lompoc City and remained a dedicated worker for 33 years, retiring at the age of 56. He enjoyed repairing and building computers in his spare time. A year and a half ago he rededicated himself to the Lord and became a member of the church Hope Chapel in Mission Hills where he rekindled his love and faith. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. In lieu of a funeral his family will be doing a private gathering to celebrate his life.
