Corrine was born November 23, 1929 in Randlett, Oklahoma. She passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Crawford Cameron (C.C.) MacKenzie in 1991, her parents, her niece Shannon Elliot, as well as her brothers, Wallace and Eugene Elliott.

She is survived by her daughter Pam MacKenzie, in Lompoc; daughter Maryse (Tony) Wasmanski, in Alabama; daughter Debbie Berg in Lompoc; daughter Eileen Ogden in Lompoc; and her son Don MacKenzie in Lompoc. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Cathy Zimmerman, April and Cara Wasmanski in Alabama; Cameron Berg and Audrey Ogden in Lompoc. She also leaves two great-grandchildren, Amber and Grayson Zimmerman in Alabama. Also surviving her are her brothers Jack (Fran) Elliot and David (Nelda) Elliott, as well as her sisters, Maxine Alessi and Wanda Bridges. Her siblings provided her with several nieces and nephews, whom she loved visiting. She is also survived by her great friends, John and Wendy Saunders, along with numerous others.

After a lifetime of raising her five children in the nomadic Air Force lifestyle, she worked for Dr. Michaels and then Allan Hancock College, until her 1991 retirement. She filled her retirement days acting as a V.A.F.B. volunteer, attending family gatherings, beach trips, watching any and all sports, crocheting, bowling, and is well known for baking "Grandma's Cookies". For 81 years she made the world a better place by being here. She was loved by many and surely to be missed.

Visitation service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, from 5-7 p.m., with the Memorial service held on Thursday, August 4 at 11:00 a.m. Both services are at Starbuck Lind Mortuary, 123 North A St., Lompoc.
