Francisco Angel, Jr. died Friday, December 4, 2009 at the age of 68. He was born January 12, 1941, in Nipomo.

Frank was employed and retired as communication technician on Vandenberg AFB. Frank was a long time member of American Legion post 211 and the Elks club. He was a sports fanatic and enjoyed following the Lompoc Braves, especially Football and Baseball. Frank spent many years coaching youth football and little league, Babe Ruth baseball.

He was preceded in death by his parents Maria and Francisco Angel, Sr. Lompoc, his brother David F. Angel of Miami, Frank Martinez of Guadalupe, his sisters Dolores Angel of San Diego and Carmen Perez of Lompoc. Frank is survived by his sister Ramona A. Leon of San Diego, brother Tiny of Eugene, Oregon and his brothers Ray and Sal both of Lompoc.

The graveside funeral service will be on Saturday, December 19, at 11:15 am at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. The cremation arrangements were under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
