Gia Olejniczak a longtime resident of Lompoc passed away on February 11, 2018 with Rus at her side after a sixteen year battle with brain tumors.

She was born August 27, 1960 in Blue Island, Ill. She is survived by her longtime companion Rus Konold, brothers Kip O'Shaughnessy and Anthony Olejniczak.

She was dedicated to working with cats using Viva Cat Rescue to help lower the cat over population.  She loved music, and making jewelry to sell on the internet. She loved visiting a family members Walnut ranch and would set for hours enjoying nature. She will be missed by all.
