Gloria Heredia Guerra Dukek, 79, passed away on August 20, 2024 after a brief illness in American Canyon, CA.

Born on October 5, 1944, in Lompoc, CA, to Alfred and Vera Heredia, Gloria grew up in Lompoc, attended local schools and graduated Lompoc High School before marrying and raising her family.  Gloria dedicated many years of service as a clerk and customer service representative, notably at Kmart in Lompoc and later at Safeway in American Canyon. Her work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction were appreciated by both colleagues and customers.

Gloria is survived by a loving family, including her son Ernest Guerra, daughter Elizabeth Corey, Sisters Rosalie Siemsen, Mary Lou Rivetti and Frances Bermudez, brothers Raul and Louis Heredia, former husband Ernesto Guerra, along with a large extended family, grandchildren and in-laws. She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Vera Heredia, her son John Guerra, and her sister Emma Heredia.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024, under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Gloria's life will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew her, as her legacy of kindness and dedication continues to live on through her family and friends.
