Grant Everett O'Dwyer

September 21, 1989 – January 31, 2025

Beloved son, brother and friend.

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Grant Everett O'Dwyer, devoted son and brother. Grant's kindness and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Grant was 35 years old at his passing. Grant lived most of his life with his mother Joanne Elizabeth O'Dwyer. They shared a very close and bonding relationship.

Grant was a very young man with a warm and welcoming spirit. He loved gaming, cutting hair, and making new friends. He also enjoyed working on cars, going to concerts, comedy shows, baseball, hockey, and bowling, and his love for Anime characters. He was a very happy and funny guy who loved to tell stories. He was smart and loved to laugh. His favorite saying was, "Live life to the fullest," and strived to accomplish that.

Grant attended Clarence Ruth Elementary, Buena Vista Elementary, Vandenberg Middle School, and Cabrillo High School. Grant was a certified Pharmacy Technician.

Grant is survived by his Mother Joanne Elizabeth O'Dwyer and Father, David Michael O'Dwyer Sr.; Brother David Michael O'Dwyer Jr.; Stepmother, Teresa Castellanos O'Dwyer. He also leaves behind his beloved extended family of stepsisters, stepbrother, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a very special niece whom he held close to his heart.

Grant is preceded in death by his Opa, Joseph O'Dwyer; his Oma Mariechen O'Dwyer; Grandpa, William Senta; Grandma, Janet Senta.

Grant embraced life with a spirit of adventure, a heart full of love. His legacy of kindness, laughter and unwavering joyful spirit will continue to live on through his family and friends and the many lives he touched.

Grant will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be at a later date this year.
