Guadalupe Luna Estrada of Lompoc, California, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 6, 2019, after a lengthy illness.  She was born in Tendeparacua, Michoacan, Mexico, on April 3, 1937, to Alfonso Luna and Maria Barajas.

Guadalupe loved her family, music, gardening, road trips, and birds.  She had a great love for life and had a great sense of humor.  She would do anything for her kids.

She is survived by her children Virginia Avila (Ramiro), Maria Salud Flores (Ofelio), Efren Estrada, Maria de Los Angeles Garcia (Cirilo), Hisidro Estrada (Michelle), Connie Verceles (Joseph), and Carmina Estrada.  She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Guadalupe is preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters, her husband of 53 years Basilio Estrada, and her son Encarnacion Estrada.

A vigil will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019, at 6:30 pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.  A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at 9:30 am at Queen of Angels Catholic Church.  Burial will follow the mass at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery, 600 South C Street, Lompoc, California.
