Obituary

Harold Moore of Lompoc died Sunday, July 19, 2009, at the age of 79.


Harold was born June 7, 1930, in St. Joseph, Missouri. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked as a corrections officer and counselor at the United States Federal Bureau of Prisons for over 25 years, retiring in Lompoc in 1980.


Harold was a member of the Lompoc Elks Lodge #2274.


Harold is survived by his wife of 7 years Erma Moore of Lompoc, daughter and son-in-law Lorri and Wayne Eppley of Lompoc, daughter Carol Sauzek of Lompoc, four step-children including Bill Fackler of Washington, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and his sister Ruby Edmiston of Tucson, Arizona.


The visitation will be from 3 to 4 pm on Friday, July 24, in the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary chapel followed by the funeral service at 4 pm led by officers and members of the Elks Lodge and the U. S. Air Force Honor Guard. A reception will follow at the Elks Lodge.
