Harry Norman Rodenberg, 88, of Lompoc died on February 27th, 2014. Harry, son of the late Harry and Lila Rodenberg of St. Louis, MO, ex-husband of the late Julie Downing-Rodenberg, passed away peacefully in his sleep in Lompoc after a short bout with pneumonia. He is survived by his long time partner of 22 years Nora Hufschmidt, sons Barry (Sharlene), Steve (Jennifer), Gordy (Astrid), daughter Karla (Matt), and "step" daughter Charlotte. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 from each child, & one great-grandson. Harry joined the navy and entered WWII at the age of 17 and became an AMM2 on the USS Enterprise working on several fighter aircraft. He was an avid golfer, racquet ball player, bowler, and pumped iron into his 80's. He retired from Hewlett-Packard out of Palo Alto, CA. Harry will always be remembered by his family & many friends as a gregarious crooner who loved "Living". Services will be held on March 20th at 11:00 A.M. at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
