Hazel Jane Landon was born on November 23, 1931, in Minneapolis Minnesota to William Denver Smith and Wanda Emilie Haeck. Hazel passed away November 17, 2021, in Lompoc California just days before her 90 ^th birthday. Hazel is predeceased by her husband Richard Milton Landon on February 16, 1990.

She is survived by her daughter Janet Finger and son-in-law Dennis Finger in St. Joseph Missouri. Son Richard Michael Landon and daughter-in-law Susan Landon. She has four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Hazel has never known a stranger, she always greeted people with a smile, kind words and well wishes for a beautiful day. She was a generous person to all she encountered, whether you were family, neighbor, or a stranger, providing them with positivity and reassurance that things will get better.

Without a doubt, her absents in her family's life will leave a hole, but it's through fond memories that she will be remembered, and the family takes comfort in the fact that she is finally with her Lord and at peace.
