Obituary
Hope L. Howard of Lompoc died Saturday, February 6, 2010, at the age of 84.
Hope was born October 10, 1925, in New York to Irving and Ruth Smith. Formerly of Merced she has been a resident of Lompoc since 1963. She was active in the Lompoc-Vandenberg Jewish Congregation and worldwide traveler.
Her husband Bernard A. Howard preceded Hope in death in 2000. She is survived by her Daughter Myra Howard-Cochran of Santa Barbara, her son Steven M. Howard of Redwood City and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be on Friday, February 12, at 1 pm in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Interment will follow in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
