Howard W. Fogelberg, 84, of Lompoc passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Howard was born on May 12, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Frans and LeaOtta Fogelberg. His family moved to Mt. Pleasant, Utah when he was a young boy.
Howard joined the US Army and served in the Korean War. He worked for the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier before retiring. His wife Eva-Lee and he moved to the Lompoc area in 1998. Howard is active in the local American Legion, VFW and Cooties. He was a stamp collector and was known for having an eye for pretty women.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Eva-Lee; his daughter, Antionette Marie Allen of Tennessee; step-son, James Wilkins of San Bernardino; siblings, Arthur Fogelberg, Donna Sorenson, and Ruth McElhannon; six grandchildren, Sarah, Jacob, Shelby, Cody, Scooter, and James, Jr.; and five great-grandchildren, Kaelyn, Samuel, Ty, Autumn, and Chloe, and numerous nieces and nephews. Howard was preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah Lynn Rosenberg and Denise Jane Ulrich Gay.
His family would like to publicly thank him for being a wonderful husband and father. He will be greatly missed.
