Howard William Kimelman Jr., 52, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2012, at his home in Lompoc. Howard was born to Howard W. and Gloria M. Kimelman on June 27, 1960, in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Howard worked as a long-haul truck driver and owned a chartered limo service in Orange County for many years before moving back to Lompoc in 2009. Howard's hobbies included racecars and fishing.
He is survived by his father, Howard W. Kimelman, Sr., his daughter, Jennifer Jean Kimelman, his sister and her husband, Cindy and Mike Bonnell of Cheyenne Wyoming, nieces and their spouses, Dawn and Jose Quintero, Deena and Nick Condon, Kristen and Jeremy Woodie and Ashlee Weber. He had three great nieces, two great nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother and his sister Jayne Kimelman-Weber.
Graveside service will be at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012 under the auspices of Queen of Angels Catholic Church.
Cremation arrangements are in the care of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
