Isolde Charlotte (Heinze) Matusek passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 94 at Lompoc Valley Medical Center in Lompoc, California.  She was born in Germany on July 22, 1929, to Erna (Palm) and Paul Heinze.

Isolde is predeceased in death by her loving husband Stephen Matusek, her parents Paul and Erna Heinze, her sisters Inge Ruhland and Brigitte Schuft.  Isolde is survived by many Nieces and Nephews in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Isolde met Steve Matusek in Germany where he was stationed in the US Air Force.  They were married in Germany on March 18, 1950.  They later moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and lived there for several years before moving to Lompoc, California where Steve was stationed at Vanderberg Air Force Base.  Isolde worked as a Clerk at TRW Aerospace for 16 years.  She enjoyed many hobbies including knitting, crocheting, rug hooking, stitchery, playing dominos and bridge with friends, and also enjoyed visiting the casinos and traveling.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 9:30am at Queen of Angels Church, 3495 Rucker Road in Lompoc.  Funeral mass to follow at 10:00am.  Interment at Lompoc Cemetery 600 South C Street in Lompoc.
