Obituary
Jack B. Evans of Lompoc died Sunday, June 13, 2010, at the age of 66.
Jack was born April 3, 1944, in Aiken, South Carolina to Marion and Helen Evans. As a member of an Air Force family he came to Lompoc from Germany in 1962. He graduated from Lompoc High School later that year. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Jack was an automobile mechanic with Vandenberg Air Force Base and the City of Lompoc for many years. He enjoyed fixing cars and building model airplane and cars.
Jack is survived by his mother Helen Evans of Lompoc, his sister and brother-in-law Becky and Steve Bunn of Chandler, Arizona, a niece Katie and a nephew Travis.
The inurnment will be in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in his name may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation of Southern California, 6300 Wilshire Blvd., #100, Los Angeles, CA 90048.
