Born Jackie Dale Waugh on August 26, 1935 in Marshfield Missouri to John Hadley Waugh and Elsie Mildred Snider Waugh.

Jack graduated High School in Elkland Missouri and later attended Allan Hancock Community College.

Jack enlisted in USAF in 1955 serving 22 years as Technical Sergeant (TSgt) before his Honorable Discharge. After his service in the US Military he continued another 20 years of service and dedication protecting our nation in the Aerospace Industry, specifically the MX Missile defense program, Jack was a part of the founding personnel of the Space Force program.

During his service in the USAF he was deployed to Thailand, England and Germany, he also served Stateside in Goldsboro North Carolina, Las Vegas Nevada and Lompoc California.

During Jack's early deployment he met and married the love of his life Veronica Price Humphries in Bury St Edmunds, England in 1957. Veronica preceded Jack in death On June 8, 2022…quite an amazing love story as Jack passed one year later on June 8, 2023.

Jack is survived by a loving family; Two Daughters Lynnette Waugh, Susan Merkert, Son in law Tom Merkert, Sister Lori Webb-Carroll, Two Granddaughters Michelle & Kori, Three Grandsons Joey, Cameron & Jerry, Seven Great Grandchildren, One Nephew, One Niece and
One Aunt & Uncle.

A funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 10 am at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, graveside service to follow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
