Obituary
A funeral mass for Jaime Lopez, 44, of Lompoc will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2008 at La Purisima Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Mahoney, OFM, Cap., Pastor of Old Mission Santa Ines officiating. Burial will follow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
Jaime was born December 16, 1963 in Michoacan, Mexico to Luis de Jesus and Maria Soledad Lopez. He has lived in Lompoc since 1978, and worked in construction as a roofer for several years.
He died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy S. Lopez of Lompoc; sons, Jaime Lopez, Jr., Jose Antonio Lopez, Frank Lopez, Rene Melgoza, Jerry Lopez; daughter, Jessica Lopez ; sisters, Silvia Lopez, Elisa Montes; brothers, Jesus, Joseluis, Javier Lopez; and several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
