Obituary

Jim Zeman passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at Marian Extended Care Center. He was 78 years young. Jim was born to Edmund and Virginia Zeman in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, on September 7, 1929. Jim was retired from the United States Air Force and Federal Electric Corporation.

Jim had been a resident of Lompoc since 1961. Jim loved to spend his time fishing and hunting. He was a member of the American Legion Post 211, the Elks Lodge #2274, the Moose Lodge #1036, and the VFW.

Jim was called home by our Lord and his first love and wife, Virginia (Jenny) Zeman who preceded him in death. They will be together forever now. Jim is survived by his second love and wife, Ida Sue. Jim is also survived by his sister, Charlotte Fuerbringer, and brothers, Harold and Robert Zeman, all from Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Two stepsons and numerous nieces and nephews also survive him. His brother Emery Zeman preceded him in death.

Jim will be loved and missed by many friends, including Jim and Freda Morr and family, Barbara Kays, Jerry and Gail Agnelli, Betty Flynn, Joe Rivas, Rick Dias, and Bill Holden.

There will be a graveside service on Monday, December 10, 2007, at 10:30 am at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery, followed by a celebration of his life at the American Legion Post 211 immediately following the services.
