It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jane Ellen Bleyl. She was a loving mother, Nana, and a cherished friend. On July 18, 2025, at the age of 70, she returned to her heavenly home after succumbing to a variety of health complications that she had suffered with for years.

Janie was born on March 15, 1955, to Gordon and Yvonne Swenerton in Long Beach, CA, and grew up in Orange County. A California girl to the core, she loved the beach and watching Disneyland fireworks with her friends. She met her sweetheart, Terry, in Garrison, Utah, on the ranch where she spent her summers with family. They were married June 30, 1973, in the Los Angeles Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had five beautiful children.

Janie's nurturing spirit and endless love will forever live on in the hearts of her children, Sarah, Kelly, Joshua, and Amanda, and her grandchildren. Though she will be missed dearly, she is now free of pain and reunited with her son Dustin and her loving husband, who passed away in 1999 and 2001.

To know her was to love her. Her smile was contagious, and her memory will be forever cherished by her family and friends.

A private memorial service to celebrate Janie's life will be held on the morning of August 4, 2025, in Lompoc, CA.
