JC Holt, 76, entered God's Eternal Kingdom on Wednesday, August 20, 2008. He was surrounded by his loving family when the Lord called him home. JC was born May 9, 1932 in Haskell, Texas to Clara and JC Holt Sr. After graduating from Rule H.S., JC joined the U.S. Air Force, retiring after 21 yrs of dedicated service to his country. He pursued a second career as Maintenance Supervisor for the City of Lompoc, retiring after 20 + years. He remained active working at the VAFB commissary. JC was a valued member of the community. Passionately involved with his church at Bethany Lutheran, former president of the Cabrillo HS Booster club and the former president of the Vandenberg Saddle Club. JC was an avid sports enthusiast and could be found at many a field or park enjoying his children or grandchildren's ballgames!

Preceded in death, by his parents and two brothers, JC is survived by his devoted wife, Mary, of 55 years. His daughter Wendy (John), sons, JC Jr. (Sheryl), Jef (Erin) and Greg (Linda). His five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, his six loving sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 22, from 6 - 8pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. A Full Military Honor funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, August 23 at Bethany Lutheran Church 135 South E Street, Lompoc, CA. with reception to follow. Graveside interment will be at 9am on Monday, August 25, in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
