Jeanetta Roselei "Pee Wee" Redrick peacefully departed this life on Friday, August 5, 2011.

Born on July 27, 1929 in Honolulu, HI to Albert and Muriel Gilding, she was preceded in death by husband Samuel Redrick and son Samuel Matthew Redrick; survived by brother Albert (Marvalee) Gilding, Jr. of Honolulu, HI, daughters Brenda-Lee (James) Smith of Moreno Valley, CA, Anetta Nash of Lompoc, CA, Bonnie (B) Balthrop of Rosamond, CA, son Anthony (Patty) Redrick of Lompoc, CA, adoptive sister Mary Lou Davis of Lompoc, CA, ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, friends, and "her babies" Pele and Haku Girl. Her aloha spirit and zest for life will be missed by all.

A resident of the Lompoc Valley since 1959, Pee Wee worked for many years at VAFB, for 3M Corporation in Goleta, and at various places in Lompoc, forging many lifelong friendships along the way. She was a Pearl Harbor survivor, longtime member of the women's auxiliaries of American Legion, Unit 125 and VFW Post 570, and loved being active in post activities until health issues in recent years prevented her from doing so. Her encouragement to others was to always enjoy the good times.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 12:00 PM at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, followed by services at 1:00 PM and burial at Lompoc Cemetery.
