JEANNETTE (JEB) E. TRACY
Jeannette (Jeb) E. Tracy died November 2, 2009 at the age of 85. She was born in Harrisburg, PA May 8, 1924 and raised in Camp Hill, PA. After graduating from Camp Hill High School in 1942, Jeb attended Pratt Art institute in Brooklyn, NY. She was an accomplished artist throughout her life and her watercolors were displayed in galleries.
In 1948 Jeb married Donald (Jerry) J. Tracy (Lt Col, ret) and began life as an Air Force wife traveling the world. Her experiences ranged from owning an antique shop in Lincoln, England to teaching English at the Royal Thai Military Academy in Bangkok, Thailand. Jeb loved to read mysteries, do crossword puzzles and play cards. On her 80th birthday, she had a perfect 29 cribbage hand!
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jerry, of Vandenberg Village, daughter, Bobbie Moore of Everett, WA, two grandsons, Todd Randolph (Lysa) of Marysville, WA, and Dane Randolph of Vandenberg Village, and three great-grandchildren Jordan Randolph, New York City, NY, Cody Randolph, Marysville, WA, and Logan Randolph, San Diego, CA.
A memorial service will be held November 14, 2009, 11:00 a.m., St Mary's Episcopal Church, 2800 Harris Grade Rd, Lompoc. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lompoc animal shelter.
