Jeffrey Howard 55, of New Britain which resided in Lompoc, CA entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 5:07pm God dispatched an angel into Jeffrey's room at Marian Hospital and gave the divine order to bring his son home after a long illness.  No more pain, no more suffering, he is at peace.  Jeffrey was born on December 25, 1962 in Miami, Florida to the late Willie Howard and surviving mother Elnora Howard.  He graduated from New Britain High School in 1980 before enlisting into the Air Force in 1981.  He served in The United States Air Force for 24 years as a missile maintenance technician and upon retirement in 2005 continued working as a logistics consultant.  While serving in the military he gave his life to Christ and became a licensed/ordained minister and served as a pastor at Chapel 2 Gospel service.

In memory he is survived by his wife Genette Howard (married in 1984) his daughter Yazminda Howard of LaGrange, Ga and Son Jeffrey J. Howard (Micklya)of Van Nuys, CA and along with three grand-babies Eleesia, Jordyn, and Jaidyn. Also, to be included are his mother Elnora Howard of New Britain CT and host of aunts and uncles and especially Clara Tillman (Layton) of Soperton, GA. Also, his military family and host of supporters especially Mr. Ray Brown who was his brother, friend and confidant. He is predeceased by his father Willie Howard and host of aunts and uncles.

A visitation will be held Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 2-5pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.  His funeral service will be held Monday, November 26, 2018 at 10am at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary followed by burial at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
