Jeffrey Lee Jones was freed to a pain-free and peaceful existence on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the age of 71, after a courageous battle and strong fight with cancer. His connection with God left him open to His will, and accepting of whatever was to come. He remained hopeful until the very end.

Jeff enjoyed camping, fishing, swimming, traveling, sweets, Volkswagens, working on vehicles, rock and roll, and playing the harmonica. In his younger days, surfing was one of his favorite pastimes. Known for his playful sense of humor, he never tired of the classic "what's that on your shirt?" joke that became one of his signatures.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Jeffrey served his country with pride.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Billie Nelene Jones and Edwin Earl Jones, and by his beloved Christine. He is survived by his twin brothers, Mark Ted Jones (Lorraine) and Paul Ed Jones (Julie). He also leaves behind his daughters, Casi Lee Jones Sanchez (Junior), Adriannan Nicole Earlene (Jones) Schiro (Erick) and his baby, Alexandria Eve Jones (Josh). Jeffrey was "Grandpa Jeff" to Blake, Ivan, Sparrow, Willow, and Meadow.

Jeff will be remembered for his humor, his harmonica, his love for his Mom's iced tea recipe, his world-class deviled eggs that were a hit at every get together, and the simple joys he carried with him throughout his life.
