Jennie Mendibles Woods, 64, joined her Heavenly Father on August 6, 2012, in Healdsburg, California, after a short battle with cancer. Jennie was born January 22, 1948, in Prescott, Arizona to John and Jennie Mendibles. The family moved to Santa Barbara, California where Jennie attended local schools.

Jennie is survived by her husband Edward Woods, her sons Alex Alonzo Jr. (Mona), Jess Mendibles (Kim), and Johnny Mendibles (Julie), her grandchildren Matthew and Breana Alonzo, Rodney Loveall, Anthony, Zachary, Hank, Angelo, and Carlotta Mendibles and her great grandchild Andre Loveall. Jennie is also survived by her siblings Alex Mendibles and Maryann Mendibles Montoya (Johnny).

Jennie is preceded in death by her parents Jennie and John Mendibles, brother Johnny mendibles and her sister Vera Mendibles Rios.

Jennie will be layed to rest with her sister Vera Mendibles Rios. A graveside memorial will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012, at 1pm at the Lompoc Cemetery. A celebration of life for family and friends will immediately follow at Beattie Park. Jennie will be tremendously missed by her family and friends.
