IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jerrell T.
Stevens-Cryer
June 16, 1981 – July 9, 2022
Jerrell was born on June 16, 1981, in Santa Barbara, the third son of Gail Stevens and Kevin Cryer. He grew up in Lompoc, CA where his grandparents Christina and Joseph Stevens also lived. He later moved to New Hampshire where he lived out most of the rest of his life.
Growing up, Jerrell would spend hours playing basketball, inspired by the likes of Michael Jordan and the rest of the double three-peat champion Chicago Bulls. After moving to New England though, Jerrell became a devoted Boston Celtics fan. During football season, he could be seen talking 'mess' on social media about how his New England Patriots were going to the superbowl again.
In his downtime, he enjoyed drinking Fireball, hanging out with his friends, talking trash, harassing the cops, and living life with a Shit Eating Grin; sometimes all at the same time. He also particularly enjoyed spending time with his kids: Tatyana (1998/Manchester), Joseph "Jojo" (2001/Lompoc), Delilah (2006/Chicago), Jayla Christina (2007/Manchester), and Aviyana "Avi" (2020/Manchester).
Jerrell was loved by his family and friends alike because of his Colgate Smile that made so many gravitate to him and his high-energy personality. He is preceded in death by his beloved Grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Gail Stevens, Thomas Dreadfulwater; his children; siblings Melissa, Maurice, Kevin, Danielle, and Treylord. Also Kevin Cryer Sr, a number of aunties, uncles, cousins and a number of dear friends from coast to coast. Jerrell is smiling down on us all.
A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, August 5, 2022, at 1 pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. The graveside service will be at 2:30 pm at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery, reception to follow at Cold Coast Brewing Company.
