Obituary

She was a special little blossom, Jerri Paulette Kinsey, who was born August 6th, 1942 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Paul and Clara Ferguson. Because Paulette became asthmatic, the family moved to Tucson, Az., and then on to National City, Ca. where the settled down and her father began to work at the aircraft plants.
There, Paulette met and married Harold "Shorty" Kinsey, a sailor, on August 30, 1957. They shared their dreams and their friendship. Paulette and Shorty shared a lifetime rich with a lasting love affair that gave the wonderful meaning to the words, I love you and for the promise of all their tomorrows. They had the "and they lived happily ever after", with all their love, joy and meaning to their lives.

Paulette and Harold had two sons, Paul and Charles, adopted a girl and two more boys, Alexander Jerri Harold Kinsey and Zachary James Ferguson Kinsey. Paulette was the very center of our family. She was the one that held us together with understanding and support and with smiles and laughter. In the interim, Paulette had 49 foster children thru the states foster parent program. She made a home for them all while following her husband from yesterday to all of their tomorrows, from California, Oklahoma, Missouri, Montana, Idaho and Washington.

Paulette and family moved to Lompoc, Ca. in 1991. She fell in love with Lompoc and with all "the little mom and pop shops" and the beautiful flower fields. This soon became the family home, making her dream come true.

She is survived by her Husband and four sons. Paulette was an incredible wife and a wonderful mother and a friend to everyone who knew her.

A viewing will be held, for those who like, at the Starbuck-Land Mortuary on Friday, August 5th, between the hours of 4 and 7 pm.

The Kinsey family would like to thank everyone who befriended Paulette. She believed every one of her friends were a gift from god and loved all of you. Her family would like to say thank you for the support and love everyone has shown.
