Obituary
Jim Escobedo died May 8, 2009 at his home surrounded by his devoted wife and children after a lengthy illness. He was to turn 70 on May 10.
He is survived by Addie, his wife of over 50 years and his two children, Kim and her children Jeremy, Justin, Rachel and Sara; and Rick, his wife Irma and their children Mario, Natalie and stepson, Ruben.
A rosary is scheduled for Thursday, May 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. There will be a graveside service on Friday, May 15 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception following at the Riverbottom Museum at 1209 East Barton.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Avenue, 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06951.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Donna Walker and her staff for their care of Jim the past 6 years.
