Obituary
Jimmie G. Parker of Lompoc died Saturday, February 4, 2012, at the age of 78.
Jimmie was born June 19, 1933, in Bard, California to John and Mary Parker. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he was an instructor at Santa Barbara City College.
He is survived by his wife Sheila Parker, his sons Joel of Placerville, Jerome of Lompoc, John of Ventura and Jim of Oak View, his brother Bob McLaughlin of Bakersfield and his sisters Janet King od Medford, Oregon and Nila Goines of Yuma, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his first wife Marie Parker.
The memorial service will be on Saturday, February 11, 2012,at 2 pm in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Cremation will be followed by interment in the Georgia Slope Cemetery in Georgetown.
