Jimmy Garza Jr

On Sunday January 24, 2010 we lost our beloved Jimmy at the age of 64. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend who will be remembered for his big smile and love of children. Jimmy was born in Corpus Christi, TX and lived there till he moved to Santa Ana, CA in 1980 with his first wife and five children. He was a hard working man and supported his family by working as a custodian for the Santa Ana Unified School District for almost 20 years.
In April of 2008 Jimmy and his second wife Maria left the big city to enjoy a simpler lifestyle in Lompoc. He was known to enjoy the fresh air, Old Towne market, and the convenience of locations in town. His power chair was named the "Little Red Barron" and for him it was a pleasure to drive around town. He was guilty of taking himsellf to his favorite local restaurant to enjoy his strawberry waffles and also to another location for his favorite strawberry milkshakes despite his diabetes.
