JoAnn Marie Collins passed away peacefully, on October 15, 2025 at the age of 90.

JoAnn was born in Lompoc, California on July 17, 1935, to Chester and Ena Cooper and was their only child. She attended elementary and high school in Lompoc and graduated class of 1953. After high school, she attended Allan Hancock College and earned an associate's degree in Secretarial Science and Business Administration.

JoAnn married Frederick Raymond Collins at the Santa Barbara Courthouse, on December 18, 1953. They were married for 71 years.

JoAnn's favorite past time was working in her yard.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her father, mother, maternal and paternal grandparents, 4 aunts, 4 uncles, and cousins. She is survived by her husband, 4 children, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

At her request, there will be no services. She will be laid to rest at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
