Joe V. Baisa,80, passed away December 17, 2016 peacefully in his home surrounded by family and friends after a long battle with cancer.

Joe lived life to the fullest with his foxy lady and the love of his life Sally. Together they raised a wonderful family that extended far beyond their own children and grandchildren and was a good friend to all that knew him. He was strong in his faith and lived to serve God. He will be remembered for his endless love and generosity, his infectious smile and his timely jokes.

Rosary will be held at La Purisima Church Tuesday, December 27th, 6:30pm.

Mass will be held at La Purisima Church Wednesday, December 28th, 10am. Reception to immediately follow at the La Purisima parish hall.

Burial will be at the Old Mission Cemetery in San Luis Obispo on Friday, December 30th. Arrangements are by Starbuck Lind Mortuary.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Guadalupe, his siblings, Frank, Rosalia, Mike, Richard and Lucia
Joe is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sally, his daughter Suzanne Baisa; his son, Derick Baisa and wife Trish; his daughter Stephanie Wilson and husband Tom; his grandchildren Carly & Jason Shelar, Garrett & Sydney Baisa, Isabella, Joe & Leo Wilson; his brother Armando Baisa, sister Connie Castanon and numerous nieces and nephews.
