John M. Carroll passed away in Lompoc, Ca. on July 6, 2017, his 82nd Birthday.

He was born July 6, 1935 in Libertyville, Illinois to Henry and Philomena Carroll. He graduated from Libertyville High School in 1955 and moved to California in 1958. John was an employee at VAFB from 1958 until his retirement in 1998. He enjoyed golfing and bowling and was a longtime volunteer at VIVA.

A service to honor John will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Lompoc at 11:00 am, followed by a reception for his friends and family at Lompoc Restaurant.  Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Santa Barbara.  Arrangements are in the care of Starbucks-Lind Mortuary.
