It is with heavy hearts that we, John's family, are announcing the unexpected passing of John on the morning of August 7, 2025.  John succumbed to multiple issues with his health.

John was born the fifth son and last child of Jackson and Thelma Joyce (TJ) Chase, in St. Johnsbury NH.  The family moved to Santa Maria, CA when he was young, not long after they settled in Lompoc.  John was a 1971 graduate of Lompoc High, soon after he enlisted in the Air Force.

John is preceded in death by both parents, his son Joshua and his brother, Doug.

He left behind his wife Katherine, his sons, Jeremy with his wife Colleen and son Michael with his wife Kelli.  John was blessed to watch 8 grandchildren, who blessed us with 12 great grandchildren.

There will not be an interment ceremony, in lieu of, there will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 3 pm at Cold Coast Brewery.
