Mr. John Michael "Mike" Glavosek, son of the late Paul Glavosek and Marie Owens, was born July 28, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended public and Catholic schools in Chuahoga County. Raised most of his childhood in a Catholic orphanage, he professed his faith in Jesus Christ. He spoke often to his children about his fond memories of the nuns and priests who mentored him. He served as an altar boy and felt gratitude for the love he received by the nuns who cared for him.

He was drafted into Vietnam after high school and served his country honorably. After returning from the service, he married the love of his life, Gail Marie Thompson. Their union was blessed with four beautiful daughters. He worked for more than 20 years restoring luxury automobiles. Later he changed careers and worked as a TSA Security Officer in Santa Barbara County for many years.

Dad quietly departed this life Friday, February 15, 2019, at his home in Lompoc, California. He was preceded in death by his daughter Cherie Marie Foy and the love of his life Gail Marie Glavosek-Newton. He is survived and remembered lovingly by his daughters Sandy Olivia Todd, Rachael Michelle Bruneau, Mary Christine "Chrissy" Glavosek-Boyajian, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dad, we love you and your memory will continue to live on in our hearts and minds forever. Thank you for the love and devotion you gave to us.  As dad would say, "Be careful how you live, you maybe the only Bible some people read."
