Obituary
John W. Holden of Lompoc died Monday, October 1, 2007, at the age of 71.
John was born August 20, 1936 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania to William and Mildred Holden. While serving in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1978 he was stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base. After working for the Xerox Corporation as a computer technician in Louisiana e returned to Lompoc in 1998. He loved fly-fishing and enjoyed bicycling.
John is survived by his daughter Brigitte House of Orcutt; step-son, Monty Holden of Nipomo; three grandchildren, Christopher holden, Sierra House, and Mikayla House. His brother William L. Holden, Jr. preceded him in death.
A memorial service with the presentation of military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 4 pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Cremation will be followed by private inurnment.
