John San Miguel of Lompoc died Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the age of 97.

John was born on August 19, 1925, in Mays Landing, New Jersey.  He served in the United States Navy in the Asiatic Pacific theatre during World War II.

Formerly of Oceanside, California, John was self-employed as a plumber for many years.

John was preceded in death by his wife Margaret San Miguel in 2010.  He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Jane and Jerry Smith of Phoenix, Arizona, his daughter and son-in-law Christine and Bob Robison of Lompoc, his son and daughter-in-law Juan and Leonora San Miguel of National City, California, his daughter Victoria San Miguel of Oceanside, his daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Pat Quigley of Maui, Hawaii and his son and daughter-in-law Calvin and Virginia San Miguel of Littleton, Colorado.

The graveside service with military honors will be Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 10:30 am in the Riverside National Cemetery.  Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, directors.
