1977 – 2008
Jose M. Santos, Jr. of Lompoc died Friday, January 11, 2008 at the age of 30.
Jose was born in Santa Maria to Roselie and Jose Santos on July 19, 1977. He was raised in Lompoc and attended Cabrillo High School. He worked for years in his family's landscaping business and worked in telephone sales and customer service. He was a member of Victory Outreach.
Jose is survived by his parents, wife of seven months, Rosa Matteotti, his daughter Victoria Santos, step-daughter Rose Matteotti, sisters Lorena Perez and Celina Ochoa, brother Cipriano Santos, aunt and uncle who were like his second set of parents Alice and Michael Riggs, uncle and aunt Sal and Gloria Mojarras, and his soul mate Sylvia Santos, all of Lompoc.
There will be a visitation on Friday, January 18, 2008, from 4 pm to 7 pm in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. The funeral service will be on Saturday, January 19, 2008, at 9 am also at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Pastor Doug Romero of Victory Outreach of Oxnard will officiate. Interment will follow in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery
