Jose Manuel Uribe-Dominguez of Lompoc died Thursday, January 11, 2018, at the age of 58.

Jose was born March 16, 1959, to Aurelio and Oliva Uribe in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico. A resident of Lompoc since 1980, he was employed in the agriculture industry for most of his life, growing and selling his own produce. He was a member of La Purisima Catholic Church.

He is survived by his daughter Sofia Uribe of Lompoc; daughter Reyna Uribe of Lompoc; son Jose Manuel Uribe, Jr. of Mexico; son Israel Uribe of Kansas; daughter Marta Angelica Uribe of Lompoc; son Aurelio Uribe of Buellton; daughter Alexandra Uribe of Lompoc; ten grandchildren; a sister Maria Luisa Gomez of Lompoc and many other siblings in Mexico.

The visitation will be Sunday, January 14, 2018, from 4 to 8 pm with the recitation of the rosary at 7 pm in the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. The funeral mass will be on Monday, January 15, 2018, at 9 am at La Purisima Catholic Church.
