JOSEPH RIVAS, JR.
1932-2008
Joseph Rivas, Jr., age 75 of Lompoc, passed away February 6, 2008 at Sierra Vista Hospital in San Luis Obispo.
Joe was born July 5, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to Jose Rivas Espina and Manuela Varela Barreiro, both of Spain. He worked in the aerospace industry for 45 years and served in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Atsuko Rivas.
A memorial service will take place Sunday, July 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building, 100 Locust Avenue in Lompoc.
Arrangements are under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
