Joseph Ray Lujan, a great man, was born on January 18, 1979, in Santa Maria, California.  Joe was a legend in his own time and beyond comparison.  He was raised in Lompoc, California where he was an incredible athlete, so much so that he could have gone far playing football. Joe came from a large family that really love him.  He leaves behind two children, his mother, his brothers, his stepchildren, and his long-term girlfriend.

Joe was a hard-working family man who stood tall in life.  He was a big 49er fan and had a big heart.  You would have been lucky to have known him.  Joe was taken before his time and is in God's hands now. No matter who you were, Joe was always there for you.  Joe, you will always be remembered as a good person.

There will be a viewing at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 6:00-7:00 pm, and a funeral service on Friday, July 1, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, burial to follow at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
