It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph "JoJo" Stevens announces his passing on Monday, February 26, 2018, after recently celebrating his 85th birthday with loved ones.  Joseph was lovingly known by his wife of 61 years as "Steve."

He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on February 20, 1933.  He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1951, and retired from the U.S. Air Force at Vandenberg AFB, California, after 24 years of service and remained in Lompoc until his passing.

Joseph's infectious smile, twinkling blue eyes, and polite and outgoing social manner will all be missed by many, but especially his wife Christina; their five children Christopher, Anthony, Terence, Gail, and Lisa; his 12 grandchildren, as well as an array of great-grandchildren.  Joseph also will be forever remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family. and dear friends everywhere.

The mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Queen of Angels Catholic Church on Friday, March 23rd, 2018 at 11 a.m. with a celebration of life to be held immediately after Mass at Queen of Angels Parish Hall in Lompoc, California.  Burial will be at the Lompoc Cemetery at 3 p.m. for those who can join us in seeing him off via "first-class flight to Sweden" to ultimately be with his Lord.
