Joshua Kyle Boyd, 41, was born on November 2, 1977, in Stuttgart Germany, and passed away in Great Falls, Montana, on March 6, 2019, after a three-year battle with cancer.

Joshua attended local schools and was active in youth sports. He was a true entrepreneur and was active in the local music community in Great Falls.  Joshua was a prolific writer of song and life truisms.  A sensitive soul, he was charismatic and intuitive and was a loyal and true friend.  He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jim and Pat Boyd and uncle Julian.  Joshua is survived by his mother Adrienne of Lompoc, California, brother Micah of Santa Barbara, California, uncle and aunt Justin and Kathy (Langley) Boyd of Chesterfield, Virginia, cousins Hilary Hayes and James Teal of Oakland California, Janelle and Kerry Marshall, Chesterfield, Clinton Boyd, Jessica and Brian Cantrall of St. Louis. Missouri, and Justin and Jordan Boyd of Chesterfield.  Also surviving are great aunts and uncles Marion McKinney, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Buddy Kincaid, Washington DC, and Grace and Millard Rutherford of Atlanta, Georgia as well as and dear friends in Great Falls.

A memorial concert will be held on March 30, 2019, at 7:30 pm at the Back Alley Bub, 112 Central Avenue in Great Falls.  Burial services will be held April 3, 2019 at 11 am Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
