It is with great sorrow that we announce that Joyce Marie Morey passed away the afternoon of May 12, 2016. Joyce passed peacefully with her loving husband, Alan, by her side. Joyce and Al celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in January. They have been residents of Lompoc for 33 years. Both were active members of La Purisima Catholic Church.
Joyce is survived by her husband Alan, her daughter Michelle Morey, her son Robert Morey and her brother Ron Coffey, grandsons Christopher Morey, Sean Hisaka and great grandson Aiden Morey.
She will be interred in her home town of Frontenac, Kansas at Mt. Carmel Cemetery on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11 am with Rev. Thomas Stroop presiding. A reception will follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
