Joyce Ellen Mougeotte

March 17, 1935 - June 2, 2023

Joyce Ellen Creel was born March 17, 1935, in Comanche, Oklahoma to Willis Josh and Corine Gladys Creel (nee Gore).  At the age of nine, she moved with her family to the Fresno Valley of California, eventually settling in Santa Maria, California.

Joyce spent 26 years working in the retail grocery industry (locally Williams Brothers Markets).

She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Robert Lee Mougeotte and two brothers and a sister. Joyce is survived by her children Keith (Susan) Mougeotte, David (Betty) Mougeotte, Bob Mougeotte, and Melanie Wagenaar in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

The graveside service will be held at Santa Maria Cemetery on June 21 at 11:00 am with a luncheon to follow.
