Juan Manuel Vargas, resident of Lompoc passed away April 17, 2018 at the age of 53.  He was born December 21, 1964 to Meliton and Herlinda Vargas in Pénjamo, Guanajuato Mexico.  Juan was well known in the community, he worked for Lompoc Donuts for over 20 years.

Juan is survived by his wife of 16 years, America Vargas, two children; John Vargas, Melanie Vargas, and two step-children; Diana Boyzo and Luis Boyzo. Three grandchildren, father Meliton Vargas, and numerous brothers and sisters.  Juan was preceded in death by his mother Herlinda Gutierrez Vargas.

A viewing will be held at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary Friday, April 27, 2018 from 5-8 pm. A graveside service will be held at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10 am, reception to follow at Events Mission Valley, 138 North B St.
